Steph saw a gap in the interior design market whilst renovating her own home eight years ago. She was looking for groovy and different wallpapers and wall coverings and found it almost impossible to find someone who could offer her the best selection and sound advice. And so it began.

Originally, WALL ST was housed out of a tiny space in Wadestown, specialising in wallpaper only, but after two years moved into bigger premises in Tinakori Road and expanded to cover all interior design aspects, including curtaining, upholstery and furnishings.

Being a mother to two boys, family ties are important to Steph and her clients and they seem to appreciate her emphasis on family life.

Rather than discard a client’s prized possessions and personal history in favour of trendy pieces, Steph typically reinvents or repurposes things. She enjoys the challenge. Vibrant fabrics are used to bring new life to dated furniture, and finished interiors have layers of meaning.
