WALL ST INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE Conceptual Stage
An initial meeting is arranged with our clients to take a 'brief'. A brief is a detailed discussion covering all aspects of the project, which will help to develop a design concept. The designer will then prepare a design package which usually includes the following:
- Space plan/furniture layout . This will illustrate the best positioning of new and sometimes existing furniture for the new design.
- Sample board with sourced wall coverings, floor coverings and fabric swatches for the new design.
- Lighting layout, window treatment suggestions
Progress Stage
Once our clients have approved the presented designs concepts, they can choose to use our services to turn the new design into reality. Progressing a project usually involves the following:
- Contractors to be appointed for the work. The client can also use their own selected contractors.
- Specifications and quotations for the work to be prepared.
- Quotations for the supply of materials, furniture and accessories to be prepared.
Implementation Stage
Once our clients have approved all aspects from the 'progress stage', we can then implement the design. This usually involves the following:
- Preparations of contracts between the main contractors and the client.
- Preparation of project schedules.
- Materials to be ordered and supplied as per contract.
- Site visits to inspect the progress and the quality of the works.
- Oversee the installation of supplied materials.
